Clouds & Regions

Sundeck is local to the most popular Snowflake regions within Amazon Web Services (AWS). If your Snowflake account is in one of these AWS regions you will experience the best performance and lowest latency with Sundeck:

  • AWS us-east-1 (N. Virginia)
  • AWS us-east-2 (Ohio)
  • AWS us-west-2 (Oregon)

Sundeck is ready for you to use today, no matter which cloud and region your Snowflake account resides in, but you may see some additional latency with other Snowflake clouds / regions.

To maximize performance when setting up your Sundeck account, choose the Sundeck region from the list above which is geographically closest to your Snowflake cloud region. Of course, if you have access to more detailed “network distance” information (ping tests and transfer rates between our native AWS regions and your Snowflake cloud region), then use that information to choose the Sundeck region which is best for you.

Note that we are regularly adding cloud providers & regions as we grow, and will soon be expanding to other cloud providers as well … so check back often for the latest supported regions!
